Appalachian Paddling Enthusiasts (APEs) is pleased to announce the next of its Paddle with the Pros clinics, this time by hosting an Intermediate/Advanced Whitewater Canoe Clinic with Eli Helbert.  Eli has taken top honors at two World Championships, a World Cup, and a World Extreme Race, as well as numerous national and regional canoeing titles.  He has taught courses throughout the U.S and abroad, including for the Nantahala Outdoor Center, La Ola School of Paddling in Germany and Austria, and the Oxford Riverside Center in England.

This one day course is designed for the aspiring advanced level creek boater.  Previous creeking experience, class 4 or higher proficiency and a solid roll are required.  The course will take place on a river similar to the Watauga in difficulty and specific location will be determined as we get closer to the date.
