Fun Run

If you’re a regular follower of the Central Ontario region on World Kayak, you’re familiar with our weekly series of paddling get togethers know as the Fun Run. Held on weeknights, starting at about 6:00pm, the Club meets at Burleigh Falls on Hwy 28. For the first few nights, water levels were high with a lot of water being released at the dam. This means big water at Burleigh allowing for several different lines down and over the falls at the bottom, and a couple of lines to be had at Sketchy Left.

Rookie paddler, Nik conquers the falls at Burleigh.

2015 Steelhead Falls Huck Fest

Great weather and slightly lower water welcomed this year’s Steelhead Falls Huck Fest.  We had a great group and we made almost 100 drops over the falls.  A special thanks to Joan for filming and scoring.
