Bozeman, Montana

Welcome to Bozeman

Bozeman Montana is located two hours northwest of Yellowstone National Park and contains some of the best whitewater in the state. The most commonly run rivers are The Gallatin, Yellowstone, and The Madison along with a plethora of excellent creeks to back up those standard runs. Theres boating for all types of paddlers here, from scenic class II floats all the way up to gnar V+ expeditions. The Gallatin is the typical "after work" run for Bozmanites as it is a 25 minute drive from the heart of town and has several stretches that range from II to IV depending on flows.

Getting into kayaking, Bozeman style!
Whitewater kayaking is an amazing sport that allows us to see places and experience new things in a truly unique way. Unfortunatly it can be a difficult sport to get involved with. There are a few ways in which a person can make the transformation into a kayaker easy, fun, and cheap(er).

      Getting to know Trevor Clark

Jun 12 09 - Over the course of my life as a kayaker there have been a few notable photographers that have provided the imagery for our sport. Jock Bradley and Paul Villecourt are the two that stand out in my mind. Last year at the Reno River Festival I was introduced to Trevor Clark. He was kind enough to shoot one of our World Kayak hometown throwdowns. Needles to say I was impressed with the images he captured. Over the course of last season the quality of the images that Trevor continued to generate did not disappoint. Not only is Trevor an extremely accomplished photographer but he is an extremely good boater as well.
